A digital proportional, integral and derivative feedback controller for power conditioning equipment
A novel serial digital implementation of feedback control circuits for power conditioning equipment is described. A digital controller providing proportional control of a switching regulator is augmented by digital derivative and integral feedback control. These additional control functions can be implemented with hardware or software providing flexibility not commonly found in analog circuits.
