MISTÉRIO SOLAR: JOGO DE TABULEIRO COM ELEMENTOS DE ROLE PLAYING GAME (RPG)
The game is a playful activity that will always be present in the life of the human being. It is fundamental for the development of the child's personality, and can have an end in itself or be used as a resource for the acquisition of learning. When taken as a pedagogical element, the game seeks something more than the simple act of playing. In this work it is argued that the previous experience of children with games can be configured not only as a motivating factor in science classes, but also contribute to the teaching and learning of content of this discipline. The objective of this article is to describe the possibilities of a board game that uses elements of RPG, developed to teaching and learning of Science in the initial years of the Primary School. This pedagogical instrument was developed within the scope of the project “Navigators 2: Leadership in the creation of apps and educational games for social transformation” by teachers, future teachers of Physics from the Federal Institute of Paraíba – IFPB and external researchers, between December 2018 and July 2019. The first phase of the subproject, already completed, contemplated the planning and design for structuring the proposal, which included the survey in the literature of concepts and information about games and their educational objectives for working with children. The 2nd Phase concerns the development of the pedagogical artifact, and the 3rd Phase, not yet started, deals with the validation and use of the game in the classroom. In this work are presented the concepts that underlie the game Solar Mystery, as well as the Game Design Document (GDD) of the game.
