This paper focuses on this relationship and defines language as a mirror of the people. In order to show this, we start from a general hypothesis according to which language and the people maintain an ontological and spiritual relationship. This relationship is sometimes positive, sometimes negative. However, we have noted in conclusion that language is a powerful instrument of social cohesion, unity and communion. This position had the privilege of being the answer to a question that guided our reflection. From a methodological point of view, the study was based on a qualitative approach. This allowed us to better understand certain fundamental notions and to appreciate the semantics of the relationship between language and people. At the level of theoretical reference, sociolinguistics enabled us to carry out a detailed demonstration. This demonstration was done in two parts. Firstly, it was an analysis of the language-people dynamic. Secondly, it was a question of analysing language as a linguistic paradox.
