By employing two shorting plates, the overall antenna size is only about 0.27λ<inf>0</inf> × 0.21λ<inf>0</inf> × 0.035λ<inf>0</inf> (λ<inf>0</inf> is the wavelength corresponding to the lower edge 808MHz). With the aid of the fork-shaped feeding strip, bandwidth enhancement is achieved. A 28.8% simulated impedance bandwidth, ranging from 808MHz to 1080MHz, is obtained within 2:1 VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio).
