acson@outlook.com.br Revista Física no Campus, v. 1, n. 1, p. 65-79, Campina Grande PB, 2021 Universidade estual da Paraíba http://novo.revista.uepb.edu.br/fisicanocampus Artigo Original
INÍCIO DE UMA NOVA ÓTICA
LOCALIZAÇÃO DA LUZ COM DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SIMULAÇÕES NUMÉRICAS
In recent years, there has been an improvement in the field of photonics in disordered environments due to its diverse applications in solar collectors, random lasers, catalyst photos and other photonic devices. This work aims to study the phenomenon of light transport in a highly disordered optical medium composed of a colloidal solution of titanium dioxide core-shell nanoparticles coated with a layer of silica (TiO2@Sı́lica) suspended in a solution of ethanol. A program was developed and adapted to carry out simulations using the theory of random matrices, which is executed through the numerical calculation program MATLAB, in addition to the portability of the same program to the Scilab freeware. The program that has a user interface works as a facilitator for the execution and obtaining of data from the simulations performed. The modification carried out in the original program allowed us to vary new parameters, such as the number of channels for the terminals connected to the quantum point studied, this resulted in new results that still need to be studied and better analyzed. keywords: Anderson localization of light.
