It uses sensitivity analysis to evaluate the preventive actions to improve the dynamic security of a power system when a transient stability problem is detected. For operation planning and operation of a power system, generation re-dispatch and load shed are the possible control actions to enhance the security level. The coordination of these actions is necessary to prevent overestimated actions. Tests have been performed on the IEEE-39 bus system.
