Families Fragilariaceae Achnanthidiaceae, Gomphonemataceae, Naviculaceae, Bacillariaceae, Eunotiaceae include 10 and more taxa. Genera Gomphonema (11), Eunotia, Nitzschia (10 species) are predominate. Diatoms on mosses are the most abundant and diverse.
