Tailored DFB laser properties by individually chirped gratings using bent waveguides
DFB InGaAs/InAlGaAs lasers with quasi-continuously and arbitrarily chirped gratings of ultra-high spatial precision were realized by an economically interesting method using bent waveguides. Several application possibilities are discussed.
