This research uses quantitative research using a pre-experimental approach. The sample used in this study amounted to 10 people who included a low category value on the ability to read early so that this research is said to be a purposive sampling study. The data collection technique used a test (pretest - posttest), then the data analysis technique used was in the form of a Paired Sample Test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Directed Reading Thinking Activity strategy had a significant effect on the reading comprehension ability of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 11 Limboto, which was 90.50% which was obtained from the calculation results. 摘要
