The number of output voltage levels can be increased to a significant value by incorporating additional switches and the DC voltage sources. The detailed analysis of the recommended multilevel inverter has been accomplished for a seven-level inverter. Modelling and simulations of the proposed generalized three-phase inverter are carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
