Research on the Impact of Internal Control on Risk Management of Chinese Listed Insurance Companies

As a part of the financial industry, insurance companies often encounter many risks in their operation. How to comprehensively and effectively evaluate the risk level of a company and reduce the possibility of risk occurrence in order to realize the effective prediction and management of risks has become an important part of winning the battle of preventing and resolving major risks. This paper selects the financial data of Chinese listed insurance companies from 2012 to 2017 to verify the impact of internal control on risk management. The results show that internal control has a positive impact on the risk management of the sample companies, and is affected by the listing years of the companies.
