Against the background of the ongoing global pandemic of the new coronavirus infection, it is necessary to study peculiar features of the epidemic process of morbidity in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Purpose. The purpose of the study was to analyze morbidity, mortality, case fatality and organization of inpatient care across different age groups in the context of the new coronavirus infection in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2020-2021. Material and methods. Data from the Federal Patient Registry for COVID-19 was used. Results. Plotting intra-annual dynamics made it possible to determine the maximum and minimum periods of morbidity and mortality. Sex and age characteristics, the number of hospitalized, the average length of patient stay in the hospital, case lethality rates were determined. Conclusions. In general, in the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in 2020-2021, the trend towards increased incidence of the new coronavirus infection continued with a distinct significant increase in autumn. A characteristic feature of the epidemic process in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2021 is the increased number of cases of the disease among working age population. There was a relationship between the patient's age and death at the hospital. There was a significant decrease in the mortality rate in 2021 compared to 2020 across all age groups.
