THE FUNCTIONING OF WOMEN IN A DIFFICULT LIFE SITUATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. QUALITATIVE RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT

The aim of the article is to answer the questions about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the daily functioning of women in a difficult life situation and what strategies they take to deal with its consequences. The article is a report from a qualitative research conducted in April 2021. The research technique used was focused group interviews, the so-called (FGI), conducted among women with features whose lives have issues that may hinder social functioning (low income and education, disability, old age, single motherhood, emigration). The conclusions from the research help to better understand the attitudes and problems of the respondents. The analysis of their statements indicates the need to take action in the field of social policy limiting to limit the negative consequences resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
