The microclimate is considered as a harmful factor in the production process based on the materials of a special assessment of the working conditions of the workplace of the boiler operator. An analysis of the impact of elevated temperatures on the worker's body and an assessment of the influence of a harmful factor on the overall working capacity and ability to concentrate the worker's attention are carried out, possible consequences in the state of health are indicated. The methods already available in the boiler house to reduce the heat load are analyzed and some options for heat-insulating coatings that can be applied as part of the developed measures are considered. Calculations of the quantity and cost of the selected materials for the considered boiler house were made.
