Also, the communication approach is used to deal with crises. Next, reviewed Important Constructs in Effective Communication for the team. The theoretical review looks at attribution, situational and image repair theory. The empirical review has considered the objectives of the study. On the role of channels of communication in crisis management, the study has considered a review of literature in the role of traditional and social media during crisis management. Considering barriers to effective communication in crisis management, the literature review considers technological, organizational, and social barriers to effective communication in crisis management. The last objective presents a new model that should be considered by organizations for effective communication in crisis management. From the review of the literature, no research has already been done on the role of effective communication during crisis management specifically. This creates a research gap that needs to be considered. Therefore, there is a need for this research study to identify the importance of effective communication during crisis management in the Police Department of Abu Dhabi.
