Multiple Access Performance of Ultra-Wideband Systems Based on GO Sequences
In this paper, the performance of direct sequence spread-spectrum (DS-SS) impulse radio (IR) ultra-wideband (UWB) system employing generalized orthogonal (GO) sequences is evaluated under the IEEE 802.15.3a multipath fading channel. Based on the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) expression provided, the numerical computation results of bit error rate (BER) performance are obtained by means of Gaussian approximation (GA) method. Both the numerical and simulation results provided reveal that GO sequences exhibit better performance than PN sequences and Walsh Hadamard sequences.
