The main purpose of work presented here is to study the effects of different controllers like generator field current limiter and under load tap changing transformer on voltage stability of major load area of this large grid. For the analysis of voltage stability of a system, dynamic simulation of entire power system is required which is dealt in detail in this paper. For the large interconnected grid all power system components are modeled in detail in SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB platform.
