Development of an automated expert system for diagnosing diseases of internal organs
This paper presents the research in automated expert systems for diagnosing diseases of internal organs. The paper begins with a review of current medical situation and systems regarding the software process. This is followed by cybernetic approach and the paradigms it uses. The proposed automated expert system is an information program that uses the expert knowledge of a doctor to effectively solve problems in diagnosing diseases. Basically, the system consists of a knowledge base about diseases of internal organs. Nowadays, the necessity of modern information systems has become tangible in every area. Especially in medicine doctors, whose key point of work is the diagnosing and making therapeutic decisions. The scientific and technological revolution and civilization have given rise to the information problem that human society has encountered. Information technology systems are designed to help diagnose and predict diseases. The aim of this work is the development automated expert system with using of technological methods for diagnosing and predicting diseases. Making diagnostic decisions is often difficult, especially for novice doctors and when the doctor has to make decisions in difficult situations. The paper concludes with some observations regarding when and how the concepts represented by proposed automated system will be available for application for diagnosing diseases of internal organs.
