This study uses qualitative descriptive techniques as data analysis. The analysis was carried out using the sociology of literature approach by identifying, describing, and analyzing poverty in short stories. The results showed that in short stories there were two types of poverty, namely: (1) economic poverty and (2) mental poverty. Furthermore, each type of poverty has its own characteristics, consisting of: (1) characteristics of poverty, (2) manifestation of poverty, and (3) meaning of poverty. 摘要
本研究旨在揭示Aba Mardjani的短篇小说《Pamangkulangit Yang terhorma》中的贫困形象。本研究采用定性描述技术作为数据分析。分析采用文学社会学的方法，通过识别、描述和分析短篇小说中的贫困。结果表明，小说中的贫困主要有两种类型，即:(1)经济贫困和(2)精神贫困。此外，每一种类型的贫困都有自己的特征，包括:(1)贫困的特征;(2)贫困的表现形式;(3)贫困的含义。关键词:贫困;短篇小说;pamangkulangit;
