One of the problems to use PTT method is the necessity to calibrate with the traditional methods of Blood Pressure (TMBP) measurements. Adaptive Kalman filter (AKF) algorithm and maximum-likelihood estimation (MLE) methods were used in this paper to reduce the number of calibration measurements.
