The object of the study is the technology of locksmith processing. The subject of the study is the technique of locksmith processing using a mechanized locksmith tool - cutting brushes. The formation of unwanted sharp edges and burrs in the manufacture of parts is a common problem for all types of machining such as milling, turning, drilling, cutting and casting processes. To ensure the safety and technical conditions of the subsequent technological operations (technical control, coating, heat treatment, further assembly), the burrs must be removed and the sharp edges smoothed. The article analyzes the most used methods and tools for deburring on machined parts. The method of increasing the productivity of locksmith processing by introducing a cutting brush is considered.
