A QoS Benchmark System for Telemedicine Communication Over 5G uRLLC and mMTC Scenarios
Among all wireless communication technologies, using 5G uRLLC and mMTC scenarios for telemedicine communication is the reasonable choice due to the quality assurance of its protocol design. However, determine the quality of medical-grade communication is still a huge task due to the cross-area knowledge integration and the cost of related research and development. In this paper, we propose a QoS benchmark system that can be used to verify the communication quality of the telemedicine system over 5G uRLLC and mMTC scenario in a good cost-efficiency. The results show the low cost and the good performance to benchmark the communication quality of a telemedicine system. The proposed QoS benchmark system can benchmark for two telemedicine scenarios, including the massive telemedicine medical device for health care and the multiple real-time online interactions for telesurgery.
