Further, dissimilarities are respected and celebrated. In this interview, Dr. Ayesha Khan shares what EDI means to her as a professor at McMaster University. Her relationship with EDI is an ongoing learning process that she is achieving with the help and guidance of students. Advocating for student empowerment is aligned with her teaching philosophy and EDI principles. However, introducing EDI topics in course content can bring challenges in how best to present sensitive materials.
