The IEEE 802.11 standard allows the use of multiple channels available at the physical layer, but its MAC protocol is designed for a single channel. However, a MAC protocol of a single channel does not work well in a multichannel environment due to the hidden terminal problem. 摘要
本文对移动自组织网络(manet)中的媒体访问控制机制IEEE 802.11和MMAC-CR (Multichannel MAC protocol for Cognitive Radio)进行了比较分析。IEEE 802.11标准允许在物理层使用多个可用通道,但其MAC协议是为单个通道设计的。但是,由于终端隐藏问题,单通道的MAC协议在多通道环境下不能很好地工作。仿真结果表明MMAC-CR协议可以更好地利用频谱机会,从而提高MANET网络的吞吐量。
