Localization i.e. finding of own location by a sensor node is an important aspect in WSN. Accuracy of localization techniques is an indispensable parameter that helps to figure out suitability of the algorithms. The basic aim of these methods is to increase the efficiency & accuracy of the estimated position. We focus on analyzing the performance of diverse Range-free Localization Algorithms to highlight uniqueness of algorithm in WSNs. In recent papers, several improvements have been proposed for localization of sensor nodes to enhance their performance. Finally, to uphold the effectiveness of the each algorithm we hereby present the analysis of the several range-free localization algorithms in WSNs. In this paper we have presented a comprehensive review of the range free localization methods.
