The purpose of this paper is to identify what research has been conducted on the topic of Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) with an emphasis on impact to the facility management profession. This paper provides a structured literature review of assessments performed in the areas of facility, building, and property management. An emphasis of this study was to investigate how previous research supports the decision to pursue an FCA.
