Abstract: This article presents the impact of the Ukrainian crisis on the Polish civil society. At the beginning, the author describes the history and the present of the Polish-Ukrainian relations. Then the author analyses social perception of the crisis, which induces both interest and fear. According to the pools, we support Ukrainian integrity or prefer to stay neutral; there is lack of support for Russia or the separatists. Our feeling of insecurity is much higher than in other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In the article, social activity is listed, such as demonstrations of solidarity or humanitarian aid.
