PET waste has increased as the manufacture and consumption of PET bottles have increased. Major environmental and financial problems have resulted from the disposal of PET bottle waste. Both clear PET bottles and colorful PET bottles are recycled using various methods. However, it is possible to recycle PET trash by chemically replicating the monomers, separating them, and creating new PET from them.
