Intervention designed to reduce anxiety is to use spiritual meditation such as reciting sholawat Burdah for Muslims. This study aims to determine the effect of reciting sholawat Burdah on the anxiety levels of parents with a hospitalized child. This research used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest posttest and a control group with 30 respondents. Interventions were given 3 days continuously. Anxiety was measured by using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. The average score of anxiety before intervention was 17.66 and after the intervention was 9.06.
