Architecture and dynamic bandwidth allocation of multi-OLT PON systems
This paper proposes a multi OLT-PON system that allows multiple vendors to provide services to users in parallel through a single network. The Guaranteed Limited Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (GLDBA) scheme is proposed for downstream transmission in the system. The existing Limited Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (LDBA) scheme is modified to be used in the upstream transmission. Performance analysis shows that the proposed network and the DBA schemes can efficiently provide services from multiple vendors to access area.
