The major developments in the IT field have attracted people who are concerned with this particular issue, and together with software experts they continuously strive to find better ways to manage tax-related tasks. This paper will try to illuminate the role that new technologies have in administering taxes, by giving an overview of where the issue stands and where it is headed.
