Quality of high education is one of the essential pillars of sustainable development. \nThe aim of the research was to identify the concept and the importance of the quality of high education and comprehensive quality standards of the educational field and the concept of sustainable development and its characteristics, objectives and dimensions, besides the impact of the quality of high education in achieving the requirements of sustainable development. The researchers have reached a number of conclusions. The most important ones are the availability of laboratory equipment, tools, modern presentation devices, presentation of lectures, financial allocations for scientific researches and the development and updating educational curricula of high education institutions.
