The traditional PID technique finds difficulty in achieving the setpoint for this nonlinear system with substantial time delays. The objective of this paper is to present a more robust approach of fuzzy logic control for such complex systems, where FLC is designed and then combined with PID using MATLAB and the system responses are compared in the simulation environment.
