摘要
由于根管系统结构复杂，不可能完全消除机械加工和灌溉带来的微生物滞留。细菌还会形成生物膜层，使其对抗生素治疗或根管冲洗和机械清洁更有抵抗力。近年来，为了提高冲洗器的抗菌效率，激光在牙髓学领域得到了广泛的应用。激光(Er:YAG, Er, Cr:YSGG, Nd:YAG, CO2二极管)用于修复治疗，牙周学和牙髓学。
