Simulations show that the model response is similar to that of patients diagnosed with unipolar depressive disorder. The simple, basic model presented here can form the basis for more informed clinical trials. Nonlinear Dynamic System Model of Unipolar Mood Disorder
Unipolar depressive disorder is characterized by persistent low mood, decrease in cognitive function, loss of interest in work and recreation, somatic complaints etc. This paper presents a nonlinear dynamic system model of the unipolar depressive disorder.
