Split-step Fourier model for Nonlinear Schrödinger equation was used to obatain these results. The comparison of degradation of cosh-Gaussian pulse versus simple Gaussian pulse is provided. The results clearly show that cosh-Gaussian pulse experiences less broadening in comparison with a simple Gaussian pulse for the same propagated distance and other parameters.
