TO THE ACTUALIZATION OF THE PROBLEM OF CULTURAL IDENTITY

The article reveals the question of the need to consider cultural identity as a problem of a social nature. The authors raise the topic of cultural identity from the standpoint of interdisciplinary approaches. The study of cultural identity in the modern humanitarian discourse is connected with the problems of intercultural communication and dialogue of cultures. Particular importance is given to the role of cultural identity, it is it that is the source, "preserving" and transmitting the experience of spiritual and moral communication and spiritual and moral values. The authors substantiate the idea of ​​the need to form a new cultural identity in the context of the modernization of Kazakhstani society.
