Influence of initial voltage step on residual AC breakdown voltage of XLPE power cables after accelerated water immersion aging test
This paper describes the results of the residual AC breakdown voltage investigated using different initial voltage steps for dry-cured power XLPE cables. Also we investigated the cause of the breakdown and the starting points of the electrical-trees which occurred.
