Digitalization increases the efficiency of the main processes of transport and logistics services, improves the accuracy of planning and forecasting, and processes incoming requests for goods delivered at high speed. This study used a qualitative research method, and interviews were conducted with experts in the transport and logistics field. The data was coded according to the following indicators: the digital mode, barriers and challenges for implementing digital systems in logistics, benefits of using digital technologies. The MAXQDA software was used to analyze the interviews. It was revealed that the lack of qualified personnel, lack of funding and external factors (political situation, business environment, government support, etc.) have a significant negative impact. Additionally, digital technologies used by some foreign and local organizations are determined. Additionally, statistical data on strategic planning and reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan 2016-2021 were used.
