To enable the integration of systems from different domains into System-of-Systems (SoS), this paper contributes conceptual thoughts on how to extend the DSSE approach for application in System-of-Systems Engineering (SoSE). For this purpose, the paper first gives a brief summary on the core concepts of DSSE. Further, a case study is realized to learn about the needs and limitations when it comes to extending DSSE for System-of-Systems Engineering.
