Workplace for Measuring Dynamic B-H Characteristics of Amorphous Ribbons and Magnetic Microwires
In the present, there is a trend for sensor miniaturization, especially if these sensors are going to be used on board small unmanned aerial vehicles. One type of these sensors is the magnetic sensors that can be used in various magnetometric systems not only for navigation purposes, but also for mapping of weak stationary and low-frequency fields, whether for the analysis of magnetic fields spatial distribution or in non-destructive archeology. Modern sensors in this area are based on the use of the amorphous ribbons or perspectively on the magnetic microwires. To optimize these sensors the magnetization characteristics of the materials need to be well known. For this reason a measuring workplace has been created with which it is possible to measure these characteristics in an automated manner and to optimize the measurement chain for the unmanned vehicles in a relatively short time. The article is focused on description of the created measuring workplace and the measuring coil used in the measurement. The results of verification measurements are also presented.
