Thangavel et al. attempt to improve data confidentiality by proposing the MRSA encryption scheme in 2015. However, their attempt failed to deliver the purpose of confidentiality due to the misuse of the RSA algorithm. The authors would like to comment the secure file storage and retrieval in cloud based on cryptographic algorithm by illustrating their error and also showing the way of how to correct it.
