The study of e-Government implementation in improving the quality of public services (A study on society in Bandung region)
In Indonesia, the implementation of e-Government is still considered low, as evidenced by the position of Indonesia which ranks 106 out of 193 countries surveyed by the United Nations (UN) in 2014. This study measures the public perceptions of e-Government implementation in Bandung using Mix Method Research (MMR) which combines quantitative methods by conducting a survey to 156 respondents and qualitative methods through Focus Group Discussion. The results show that Benefit and Content dimensions are perceived Good, while other 6 dimensions consist of Cost, Availability, Reliability, Technology, Reputation and Support dimensions are still need to be improved. Therefore, to support the successful implementation of e-Government, efforts are needed in order to improve the quality of public services.
