The purpose of this study is to describe students’ cooperative ability by using portfolio-based learning models. The research method used intact group comparison. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistical Analysis. The results of this study indicated that the cooperative ability of students in the experimental group was in the moderate category, while in the control group was in a very low category. The results t-test, post-test scores in the experimental group and the control group showed the results of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, which means that there is an effect of portfolio-based learning models on the students’ cooperative ability.
