LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN RURAL AREA AS A FORM OF CIVIL ACTIVITY: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Within the framework of the article, an analysis of international experience in the development of local communities was carried out, the implementation of individual social projects to increase the capacity of local communities in rural areas of Kazakhstan was considered, and, according to an expert survey, the main tools for involving rural citizens in the decision-making process at the local level were studied. In addition, recommendations are presented to increase the capacity of local communities in rural areas.
