目前，大多数高校在普及音乐教育的同时，都开设了公共音乐课程，培养学生的艺术修养，提高学生的综合素质。由于不同高校的教育理念和教学形式不同，当前高校公共音乐课程在课程体系和教学方法上面临着诸多问题。本文从高校公共音乐实践性课程的角度出发，指出其所面临的具体教学问题，分析原因，并进一步从教学目标、教学策略、综合素质等方面提出改进建议
