摘要

本文提出了一种利用智能英语教学机器人来帮助老年人学习英语词汇的解决方案。使用具有多种情景教学功能和材料的机器人,老年人可以在生动活泼的环境中学习英语,提高学习兴趣,增强学习的专注力。本研究通过对比语法翻译教学和交际语言教学(CLT)来验证英语教学机器人的有效性。结果显示,几乎所有老年人都喜欢机器人助教。而交际教学法在学习的集中程度、学习兴趣、学习效果等方面明显优于语法翻译教学法。因此,CLT配合智能英语教学机器人更适用于老年人。
