In order to investigate the potential application of this dye in organic light-emitting diodes, a photophysical characterization in film, solution and solid state was performed. Aditionally, Raman and infrared spectroscopies were also applied. This paper presents the theoretical and experimental study regarding the optical and structural properties of 2-(5'-amino-2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole.
