The project promoted the implementation of landscaping in the empty space of the school, providing the social and environmental wellbeing of the whole school community. Its theoretical contribution is the socio-historical perspective of Vygotsky, through which it is possible to understand the human being as a biological, social and cultural being, who learns from the other subjects of the process of pedagogical mediation. Through this study, it can be seen that environmental education in the school is now a very effective instrument for the creation and application of sustainable forms of society-nature interaction. REVITALIZAÇÃO DO ESPAÇO ESCOLAR POR MEIO DA MEDIAÇÃO PEDAGÓGICA E DA SENSIBILIZAÇÃO AMBIENTAL
