This paper investigates the new web-based environment for foreign language teaching in open educational resources, foreign language teaching, teacher-student exchange and evaluation system. A web-based virtual language environment could make up for the lack of real language environment and contributes to the students' oral English development. The web-based classroom teaching would increase the capacity of knowledge, mobilize the enthusiasm of the students and has a positive and important impact on language teaching. The web-based teacher-student interaction could extend the communication from curricular to extra-curricular school, and is conducive to harmonious relations between teachers and students.
